I got 0x10B from Santa and it works fine. My wife says the HR20-700 manual states that with OTA up and running we should be able to record 3 shows at once; two satelite and one OTA. This feature is not working on our HR20s. Anyone out there heard of this or have any information on it? Thanks.

So you're saying you can record 3 shows at the same time?

That was in reference to Walker's only being able to record 1 thing max. If the HR20 can't sense a sat. feed for an extended time period, it will assume that tuner feed is dead and ignore it completely until the next reboot. To bad it doesn't seem to retry every so often or everytime a new request for a second tuner is made. Perhaps a future release?

Cheers,
Tom

That feature will be available some time in the future but has not yet been activated. I believe the maximum is to record 2 shows. I just tried to record 2 and watch OTA and it wouldn't let me. It has the "capability" to do so but is not able to just yet. The OTA feature was just activated, for some of us, less than a week ago. Others, maybe 2 weeks.

Recording three items or watching a live item while 2 others are recordings is a myth spread by a huge mistake in the manual. There are no announced plans to support such and huge doubts that the hardware can support such.

Sorry, don't expect it anytime.

you could try running the guided setup again to verify the HR20 has enabled both tuners.

ARGH! I was looking forward to that. I tried to watch a live show while recording 2 tonight and it would not let me. Anybody know if the ViP622 can record 3 shows at the same time.
