I spent the last four days dealing with DirecTV's ineptness with updating my debit card. After receiving four automated phone calls and making two calls to clear things up, I was forwarded to a third CSR person today.

When I signed for DirecTV back in February, I was promised with a $50.00 Visa gift card for signing up for Direct Pay. That gift card never came and was told that the promotion was no longer available.

Already owning a H21, I asked if I could be provided with a HR2x at no extra cost. The CSR said we could "give it to you for $99.00." Pressing further, she made the offer to give me the HR2x at no extra cost...only charging me $19.00 for the processing fee.
