Sometimes I need to disable just one occurance of a weekly (or daily) timer. Unfortunately, 501 doesn't have such functionality. Here is the trick I discovered.
Say, you are browsing EPG, found something useful, hit record button, and ... conflict screen. Delete repeating timer and move to the next occurance of this show. Hit select, setup same type repeating timer and you are done.
If you have daily or M-F timer you want partially disable, don't forget to setup singles for days before the conflict.
