I have an older Directv/Tivo DVR that I am having trouble with. It seems that I have to reset the receiver every other day. I have the Directv Protection Plan and wanted to know if I purchased a Directv R15 DVR, would the cost be covereed because I have the protection plan?

Call DIRECTV, I believe they will swap it with an R15 or R16 for you.

They surely will do a swap. My sister's DTivo died and one phone call and two days FedEx was a shiny new R16.
