My first post so bear with me everyone.

Last night I noticed that my Tivo/Directv boxes are all experiencing a common problem. They are all periodically or sporadically missing programs on their season passes. Directv acknowledged that the problem was theirs, but had no fix date to give us. Everyone may want to watch for this one. Please let me know if others are experiencing this issue.

What model# is your DirecTV/TIVO reciever?
Problems are primarily on the DSR6000 series from what I can find out, but I have been told that some of the newer combo units are showing signs of the same problem. It basically looks like the machine can't find the shows matching their season pass requests. The weird part is that sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. We noticed it on Tuesday, but not before that.

The only time I've seen something like that (that I can recall at this hour! :)) is when I look at the "To Do" list and next to the season pass listing at the bottom the channel shows "Missing". That happens when the call letters change - and just recently with TNT HD for some reason, though you wouldn't see that particular channel on the DSR6000s. That happened a while ago with FX as well.

If you go into the To Do list and look at the first entry (History), does it show an explanation for why it didn't/won't record? Forgive me if I'm getting way too simple, but the ones that are being missed are not repeats, are they? Lots of those lately and they won't record if they had been in the Now Playng list or the To Do list within the last 28 days. I've found the History listing to be my friend sometimes.

To be honest with you, I haven't heard anything about programs just being missed. I also haven't found DirecTv to be quick to take the blame. I've had two DSR6000s for many years now, and I've always found them to be pretty reliable.

If you don't mind my asking, which programs are being missed? It might help to narrow down what's going on. And the explanation that shows (if it does) under the History listing.

Problems appear to have been reported by (some) users of all units running 6.x software, including the HR10.
