Watching The Women's British Open on TNTHD and the picture quality has not improved on 245. I guess this is out of Direct TV's hands, for the other channels, especially the HDNet channels look simply incredible, sheesh, they still look great in the 70s listing.

Well, the British Open stuff is all upconverted from what the BBC feed gives them so it is not near HD quality. Next year it is supposed to be in HD from the source though.

Its not HD at all, the BBC feeds are 16x9 SD
