With tonight's debate up in the air. Does anyone know if the networks have made alternate programming arrangements?

Encore performances! What we called repeats back in the day.
Maybe talking heads talking about situation.

The event, actually, isn't really "up in the air". Both candidates were invited; both candidates accepted; the event will go on as long as either candidate is present. Whether networks will carry a one-candidate debate (i.e., "town meeting") is questionable, but I suspect that some will, at least in part.
Doesn't matter to me, I planned to watch my own alternate programming anyway. :D
No longer an issue. Just announced, the debate will go on as scheduled with both candidates present
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Republican John McCain agreed to attend the first presidential debate Friday night even though Congress doesn't have a bailout deal, reversing an earlier decision to delay the event until Washington had taken action to address the crisis.
It's a go. No need for alternate programming.
