Treasure HD Takes a Dive

Voom HD Networks' Treasure HD will debut six-part hourly documentary series Treasure Divers during the second quarter of 2007.

Treasure Divers "follows shipwreck treasure historian Captain Carl Fismer and diver instructor Captain Gary Mace and their crew as they search for sunken, buried and lost precious and historical treasures," the network said.

The Rainbow Media Holdings-owned network is aimed at "people with a passion for collecting," Treasure HD added.

There was a treasure museum right up the road from here that was started by Mel Fisher several years ago. He moved it a while back from A1A, right on the ocean, to US1 in Sebastian. He spent many years "prospecting" not far off shore from here. His company is still pulling gold out of wrecks not far away.
