trouble with whole room dvr since moving

I just got directv reinstalled in my new home this week I got the new hd dvr in the living room I got hd reciver in kitchen hookep up to whole room dvr and I got one client hook up to whole room dvr but when I put my old h424-100 in the bedroom it only shows the play list before I moved why cant I see the other playlist since the move I called tech support last nite said something about I had to wait till software update before the old hd dvr 24-100 to show new play list.I also have the old deca thing from old house too I dont know if me hooking it up in the bedroom would make it show the new list at new house
