With the unveiling of Panasonic's two new tru2way enabled televisions at CEDIA this week, are we seeing the beginning of the end of set-top-boxes?
I don't think there's any way to pack the technology of, say, a ViP722 into a tru2way enabled television. I think the idea sounds very cool and the public will embrace it at face value until they realize the practical issues of not having a separate set top box.
