I want to have a TurboHD silver package with Setanta Sports add on.
Setanta Sports is currently offered through "A la Carte" in standard Def only.

I was chatting with the Dish sales rep and they told me it's impossible to set up like that because all I will be getting from TurboHD is HD program only and none of the SD program will show up, not even A la Carte.

I am curious about this and want to see if anyone out there currently have this setup and prove them wrong.

If I can't add Setanat sports to my HD, this is definitely a deal breaker for me.

Dish's internal policies are to limit (i.e., not allow) most add-ons to the TurboHD packages. As such, I doubt you'll be able to do what you want in this case.

i have dishHD absolute pkg and am able to watch setanta on free preview, so I don't see how it would be impossible.

It sounds like it's not a technical limitation but a marketing decision from Dish.

The last time I checked the E* website, the Latino Bonus pack at $13.99 was available with the Turbo HD packs, I suspect Setanta Sports could be added as well. I doubt E* would turn down more money, I suspect the csr was misinformed, imagine that .
