I started noticing a faint green image at the top center of the screen. The background needs to be medium dark for me to see it. After studying it on various backgrounds, I decided it was the TV Guide logo. I see other patterns to the left of the center logo, also faint green. I cannot really identify them. but it seems similar to the top left banner on my EPG.

I have a ViP 722k with L750. I seem see this on all channels, even OTA.

Is it just me or does anyone else see this? Or is it all in my mind?

This is on my Dynex 42" LCD flat screen. Do LCD's experience burn in?
Not actually burn in, but slow pixel recovery. Usually leaving the set off for 24 hours will allow the crystals to relax back to where they were, and the image should go away.

In one case I had to plug a computer into my Westy and run a java pixel fixer fullscreen for a few hours.

I guess it really is slow pixel recovery.

I refrained from using the guide for a couple of days and used browse instead.

Shadow images are gone.
