I have a 722 with a 5.3 remote for TV1 and a 6.3 remote for TV2.

I have both TV1 and TV2 split off into differnet rooms. For TV2 this works fine with the UHF infrared remote which can control the box from the remote location through walls.

My question is about TV1. Is there anyway to set up that one to be able to control the 722 from another room through the wall. I only see one antenna input in the back of the receiver which tells me that TV1 can only be controlled by a remote pointing directly at it.

Is this the case or is there a way to control TV1 from another room?

Get another UHF 6.3 remote. Set it's address to the same as TV1. Then goto the menues and enable UHF/pro mode on TV1. Don't need another antenna.
To add a little detail, you need to go to the "system info" screen (push "menu" twice), and using the new 6.3 UHF remote (which is set to the same address as the existing 5.3 IR remote) push "record." The system info should read for TV1: "Remote Address XX, IR/UHF Pro." :)

Oh, BTW, the 6.3 needs to have the "TV1 UHF Pro" plastic key inserted to work properly.
