I have a 625 and the TV2 is located about 50 feet from the receiver. When the box was installed the tech put an extenion piece of coax on the remote antenna to run it out exposed because it was not working good. Up until recently it worked pretty good. Here lately the remote does not work in the same room as TV2. If you go point it directly at the antenna it will work but that is a pain. Any ideas?

More than likely the batteries are getting low enough in the remote to keep it from putting out enough of a signal to control the 625, but there not yet low enough to trigger the low battery warning.

Another trick is using a standard splitter combine the antenna input with the TV2 output at the back of the receiver (before the diplexer if being used). Using a second standard splitter create an extra RF jack behind the TV2 location, and put the antenna right there at the TV.
