My HR20 will be here in about a month (got a call Saturday about a 3 week delay due to out of stock). I have a D*TV's Tivo Series 2 (Tivo Unit Model DSR704, Philips brand) with 3 LNB dish and plan on using as a second receiver.

Question, will the new 5 LNB support both units or will i still need the 3 LNB to support my exist Tivo unit?

The 5 LNB with support your existing Tivo units just fine there will be no need to keep the 3lnb up.
