Unable to Pause, Record, Playback,etc.

Yesterday I had the "black screen" and had to reset. Today, I am watching channel 68 (Sabres vs Islanders). The machine hangs when trying to pause --> hit reset button. Then, I try watching the game and using manual record and the machine hangs --> hit reset button. Then, I try to use the rewind feature to view a missed goal and the machine hangs --->had to do another reset !!!!!!!

Im pissed, this is a constant daily problem and its getting old. Calling tech support usually results in me having to re-format the machine (I have 3 of them). They dont seem to have any real solutions to the problem at this tim
