Does anyone have any insight into the unexpected error message.

In the last week I have missed the office due to unexpected error #19 and Prison Break to unexpected error # 3.

Not sure what is unexpected, I have long learned to expect this lame DVR to have errors.

I don’t believe anyone knows for sure what causes these errors or even what the various error codes mean. I believe it could be an issue when something changes between the time the To Do list was populated and when the recording is to actually take place. For example, if the guide data changed very close to the time of the broadcast as was happening with American Idol earlier this year.

Some things to look for that might help narrow down the cause are last-minute guide changes, like start times a minute or two before or after the original schedule. Also, have you made any changes in your parental controls? Do you even use parental controls? That might also be a clue as to what’s happening here.
