Originally in the press release it was announced that FSN Ohio, FSN Florida, and FSN Cincinnati would be part of the many RSNs going 24/7 HD on 8/14/08.

Unfortunately those three will not be ready to launch tomorrow with the other channels scheduled to go HD at 6:00am EST.

These three RSNs will still broadcast games in HD as they have been doing for many months.

I know everyone is going to ask if this is a few days, few weeks, few months delay....No timetable has been announced on when they will go 24/7 HD.

The rest of Festivus will go on as planned tomorrow morning, so enjoy the new HD channels.

Any possible surprises tomorrow, or simply the channels listed in the press release minus those 3 RSN's?

Very soon...single digits in terms of days unless something changes.

Wonder if the problem with FSN Ohio/Cincinnati is the Reds don't want people to see how crappy they're?:)

As evidenced by this 11th hour change in plans, perhaps it is best to not go out on a limb with details of what is planned. Even if there is good news, any bad news casts a pall on the whole festivus.

Does not look like we are getting any additional HD channels besides ABCF HD, PLANET GREEN HD, SHOWCASE HD, EXTREME HD and RSN HDs. Directv.com online schedule list these and thats it.
What a bummer, looks like with a new HD launch they would come out stronger.

Maybe they are holding back a few surprises.
