Good Evening, Earlier today, my EHD I was using on my 211 finally crapped out. I thought about going ahead and upgrading to a vip-612 and not bothering with another(no.3) ehd. Does anyone know what kind of up charge there is? I can't find equipment upgrade prices anywhere on dish.com site. Thanks in advance for any input.

It's depend on your history and marks/notice on your account, so don't waste your time here - call CSR and complain about dead 211, do not propose any particular model; when they will start giving you something (pretty sure it will be 211k) try to mumble (don't sounds as knowledgeable man !) about your different vision of normal low cost DVR, perhaps they will offer the 612 at no cost for you ...
