upgrading portable dish to HD from SD
currently have an sd dish for the rv for hunting season and camping and looking to upgrade it to HD and use a r24 jut not sure which dish to get. any help is appreciated

What you need to do is get a hold of a "PHASE III" dish and SL3 LNB! With a slight modification you can make the LNB fit the arm of the phase III and you have a transportable HD dish!

If you are going to have a clear line of sight the best thing is to duplicate what you have at home with the dish. At home, press the dash button on the remote. Does the message say SWM detected ? If yes, you need a SWM dish and Power Inserter.
Press and hold the Info button on the remote. The system info will come to the screen. Choose More Info, scroll down and see what dish it says it is using.
