Upgrading Question

Hello. I have been a Dish Network subscriber now for over 3 years. I signed a contact wayback when for a year long term. Since then I havent seen anything about renewal or anything. I got it through a local dealer so I am guessing perhaps that is why.

Right now I have TWO 322 receivers, one upstairs and one downstairs. What I ultimately want is to KEEP the 322 upstairs and then get a HD receiver for the living room big screen and then a single receiver for the kitchen. I talked to the people at the local dealership, which by the way have no friggin clue what is going on when it comes to receiver models or anything HD. They told me we would have to pay full price for any receiver upgrade we wanted. I am wondering if there is a different way of doing this rather than going full price for everything.
I would like to know otherwise I guess I will start scouring ebay for a cheaper model or something. What do you guys suggest?!

Wait a couple of weeks. Dish should announce the Vip222 receiver at CES. It's the same as the 322, but with one HD and one SD output. There'll probably be a Dishn'-it-Up program like the current one for the Vip211, $49 for everything you'll need (new dish, switch, receiver, etc.) with an 18 month committment. If you own the 322, you might be able to sell it. Or you could return it to Dish for a credit (may not be much).
