How about installing Windows 7 on it instead :) Vista is slow as crap on my parents computer too. Drivers are usually installed from the device or microsoft database, so I doubt there are any drivers that will do much better, if you have been keeping up with Windows Updates on it.

You will get speeds much faster copying files FROM the flash drive. The logjam on flash drives is the WRITE speed, copying files to them, not reading the files from them.
