Where is it, September is almost over.
Dish Promised alot for the 721 for September.
Whats the deal?????:shrug:

Wish I knew, I haven't heard a thing from my 721 contacts in weeks. Something is going on at Echostar, I haven't placed my finger on what it is yet.

Does that mean they're not returning calls/emails or they're not offering up information? Is their trouble in 721-land?

We will get the next 721 software update..."when the merger is approved".....LOL

They promised to release 721 in December of last year. Then in Q1 2002, and so on. They've still not "really" released it in that it's only being sold by dealers and not by E* directly. I wouldn't put a whole lot of stock in any date that Charlie gives you....

I don't even want any new features. I'd just like the kick to live bug, and the missed recordings bug, to be fixed =)

Be careful what you ask for...
I agree that the "kick to live" and "missed timer" bugs need to be fixed first, but the price that we paid for the 721 warrents some additional features (Internet support, IR keyboard, slow motion, etc). I would be extremely disappointed if they backed out on these features that have already been promised!
