I currently have an HR20 with two lines coming in from a Zinwell B68 (I believe that's the model) for both tuners. I want to take the signal and pass it on to another room that is right next to this one. I don't want to have a separate receiver in the other room since it should always have the same program on. What kind of equipment do I need to pass on the signal? Also, can I pass it on to multiple televisions or just one? I am not concerned with passing on the high definition signal. It can be standard def.

You can slave the other TV, but you would have to do it with coax cable, unless you want to pay for 10-15 ft of RCA cables...that's the only way that I know to make the receiver work on two different TV's...then again, just like you said you'll have to be watching the same thing on both TV's.
I've been using the following for years with great results. It's really nice if you don't care about S-Video or best quality for your remote viewing locations.

Channel Plus 3025

It can take 2 video sources (2 R10s in my case) and modulate them to 5 TVs via COAX.

I tune the TV to one channel for one of the R10s and then another channel for the other. You program which channels so local TV stations don't interfere.

They have IR remote targets that you put at each TV location for the remote. You hook them up to the COAX. No power cords and crap like that.

Then you get a couple IR repeaters. Plug them into the 3025 and tape the end over the IR target on your receivers.

Works great.

Bought mine from Beach Audio. (www.beachaudio.com)

The 3025 is pretty inexpensive. The IR targets can add up though.

Hope this helps.

Actually, you could get away with an inexpensive ch 3-4 modulator and just use the RF remote on the HR20 to control it from the second room. The HR20 composite and S-video outputs are 480i so you would get a picture on both SD and HD channels. Here's the Radio Shack version: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103095

Correct. While the ChannelPlus units work great, the inexpensive modulators will do the job if sending the signal over channel 3 or 4 is acceptable.
Thanks for the information.
It would be nice if ATSC modulators were available but I suspect the MPAA and their ilk would probably sue to prevent their use (likewise with HDMI or component input cards for PCs). HDCP/DRM sucks!
The 3025's have somewhat higher power output than most channel 3/4 modulators, so if you are going any distance you might be better off with the better product. For a single channel application, I actually prefer the CE Labs 1001ST modulator, plus it modulates the audio in stereo where the 3025 is mono. I have both (3025's and 1001's). The 1001's seem to have a stronger output signal than the 3025's.

You will never see an ATSC modulator, I think something has already been done to prevent their being sold.

Yes, true on the built-in amplification w/ the ChannelPlus. Funny you mention the CE Labs modulator, as it is what I use with my HR10-250.
