Is there anyway to disable the HD channels mapdown on a VIP612?

I looked through the menus and came to the suspicion that there may not be a way to do that since they sell it as a HD DVR. I seem to remember being able do mapdown or not on my VIP622. Sad to say they moved things around in the menus of the 612.
