For some reason I remember it was hinted that there would be other "Features" coming in conjunction with the OTA release. ie they were holding up OTA to integrate these features.

Well OTA is there (west coast) but no mention has been made of any other features either included or coming. I don't count fixing bugs as features. And while the History and new Record options are neat, I don't really consider them to be be show stopping.

I specifically remember Earl saying the reason for the delay would be obvious and if it wasn't obvious, he would tell us.

Maybe we got so caught up in OTA that we forgot there were supposed to be new features.

What am I missing?

The features were History changes and the recording tabs changes.

And this was supposed to make everyone have a wonderful holiday?

So I guess now those who experience missed or cancelled recordings get to know why.

I was really expecting something more cutting edge.

Yeah, I can't claim to be overwhelmed at this point. But if, and its a huge if, the HR20 is not very stable for almost everyone, then I'll be happy.

So you had unreasonable expectations, and you're disappointed that they weren't met?

I put my trust in some non-D* people, with whom I do still thank and appreciate, and their hype of this release.
