It is in your channel section. It is 26-1 and comes in great. I have it in my favorites 1. You can go to channels you receive and check 26-1.dam006 said:First time post so please bear with me...
As you all know that if your local channels are in HD they are referred to using their letters. For example, in Chicago CH2 is WBBM, CH 5 is WMAQ, etc. Well, CH26 is currently not offered in HD and its call sign is WCIU.
I have a program search to record all Cubs games. Now here's the problem... Whenever the games are on CH26 it keeps recording channel "WCIU." WCIU is not offered in HD on DirecTV, it doesn't even appear in the guide! The list will have the game with the HD logo next to it. When you play it, it is actually WMAQ (the NBC) station.
I wish I could show a picture of it because I'm not sure if I'm describing this well enough.![]()
It doesn't show up in mine. Only 26, 26-3, and 26-6.finaldiet said:It is in your channel section. It is 26-1 and comes in great. I have it in my favorites 1. You can go to channels you receive and check 26-1.![]()
NOT necessarily for all of us downstaters...jdh8668 said:Whenever it's on there, downstate fans are completely blacked out from the game...
CLTV is not on OTAdam006 said:I don't have OTA so I'm not sure why my receiver would try to record the channel. And since I don't I would equate it to my receiver trying to record CLTV - its not in my guide and the only way that I should be able to receive it would be with an OTA.
FYI - The channel (WCIU HD) does not appear in my Favorites, in Channels I receive or in All Channels guides. And neither does CLTV but unfortunately probably never will.![]()
