Hi All,

We had an HR10-250, it was our third and we were waiting for yet another replacement as this one was failing in the same manner as the others. We received the H20 last week and the installer showed up the next day to install the 5 LNB antenna because the installation requirements said we needed it. We installed it and found we couldn't get the OTA HD local channels which was a shock. I called Direct TV and thanked them for the upgraded HD DVR but we preferred a one to one replacement so we would not lose the ability to record those local HD channels.

Long story short, we promptly received 2 other H20's instead of the HR10-250 so we gave up and installed the H20 today and hope that the software upgrade to receive the local OTA HD channels will follow sooner rather than later.

Having said that, we are very happy with the features we have seen so far.

1) to record a show is a snap, not the long delay we always experienced with our HR10-250
2) Once we have set a show to record, it displays that in the channel guide so we don't have to wonder if we have set to record the show
3) We have Vonage and had a very convoluted way to connect to the TIVO service via a phone call to New York (including incense, spirited drum beating and small animal sacrifice) AND we couldn't leave the phone connected as the receiver wanted to call 'home' constantly. The H20 only wants the phone line to display the Caller ID. I can always set up PPV via the web so..............that's not a problem

We really enjoy the 'little' things we see in the H20 :)

Now, if Santa would try again before Xmas or at least the football playoffs, we'd be pretty happy campers.
