Well, my 311s finally got the 4.11 software upgrade (from 3.18).

I thought this was supposed to be the Channel 100 Local Weather Software?

Another Weather Channel issue: My 301 won't remember the default location or anything entered in the favorite location list. I reported this to E* 3 weeks ago and yesterday they confirmed this is a widespread problem with the 301, not just mine. Hopefully a software fix will come sooner or later.

There is also a problem with the 301 freezing when this is activated.The commercials usually freeze on the weather channel during the application.This happens to my 301 although not all the time and both of my fathers has the same problem.I don't have a problem with mine remembering presets.

Do you mean you can't see it on 100?If so go to news and highlight weather channel it should be number 5.It will load up.

You should have 5.I would contact dish and ask them about this.All receivers should have it on channel 100 now.

Well I took your advice and called Dish today - she directed me to the old 'Instant Weather' on channel 100. I said "We've always had this, I'm talking about a new TWC interactive weather with radar."

She said "Sir, this is the only weather we have."

So, is she clueless? What gives here? I've got the 4.11 on my 311s now, but still only 4 options under 'news' on channel 100.

My 501 crashes some of the times. Sometimes it doesn't. There seems to be no pattern to when it does this. Does anyone else have this problem with their 501?
