No signal for 3 days after big snow storm. Neighbor that knows what he's doing went on my roof and took heavy snow and ice off dish. Signal came back but only some channels (those on 119) -- called tech and after check switch -- everything is good (OTAs that wouldn't scan in before now are in -- don't know why).
BUT -- my Timers are screwed up. Checked schedule for coming week and some events show up with record icon in the EPG and appropriately in the schedule, others do not (i.e. Desperate Housewives is on for next Sunday, but Brothers and Sisters doesn't show up anywhere). When I went in and added a "New Event" Timer for Brothers and Sisters, it let me do one without saying you already have this Timer. I then deleted the original Timer that still shows up in my TImer list. What's worse, when I tried to replace another one that was not being picked up, I got the Timers maxed out message (I only have 50 and they are New Epode ones mostly). My Timers have worked flawlessly until now and I have never seen the maximum Timer message. Could this have something to do with no signal for three days and lots of skipped events or a recently loaded EPG after 3 days without? I'll wait for opinions before I panic and delete all Timers and start over.
