WFLA Tampa NBC has been down for 3 days

Surprised to find no one else complaining about this. For three days now, there has been a notice on the WFLA channel (satellite local) that they know there is a problem and are trying to fix it. Anyone have an idea what is going on? With the immense number of problems we've been having with the Tampa HD locals like pixelization and sound drops, it almost has me thinking that it's time to go back to cable!

So its not just me with the horrific CBS quality? I just moved here a couple of weeks ago from Jacksonville and CBS has been awful since the minute it got hooked up. As far as NBC, I really don't watch anything from them outside of NFL season so I wouldn't have noticed that.

Nope. WTSP has issues even OTA, but the conversion to MPEG4 by DirecTV adds more.

WFLA is fine OTA, so it's obviously an issue with DirecTV getting the channel to us.

[Note to moderators: we may want to move this to the new HD Locals subforum?]
I just turned on channel 8 on Directv and the HD feed appears to be the SD feed just broadcast on the HD channel. NBC Nightly News doesn't have the "HD" portion on each side of the screen, whereas I also have Brighthouse Digital Cable and it was the normal HD feed.
First NFL game and no HD, who's to blame WFLA or Directv??
don't know, luckily like I said though, I also have Brighthouse since it is apparently cheaper to have digital cable/internet/phone over internet/phone/just local channels for the first year.
Ch 10 WTSP had issues, and Directv put the east coast national HD channel up....Would be nice if they could do that for the next 3 hours....

my channel 10 still has issues.
It looks as though WFLA's HD feed is fixed.
I have had nothing but problems with the WFLA feed from DirecTV. The olympics were hard to watch. I am fortunate enough to have OTA and can pull in NBC from the Tampa and Fort Myers areas. I would say the problems rest with both DirecTV and WFLA.
