Anyone know if ABC WFTV affiliate station has upgraded their equipment? I don't want to record HD ABC shows if I know they will play back choppy.

Are you saying that the choppy playback is because of WFTV? I thought it was something with the HR20. Because of this I've temporarily gone back to the HR10-250. Can you tell me why it would be their equipment that causes this?

No problem. I can record other local HD stations with no problem. However, whenever I record WFTV HD feed their playback is choppy. SD WFTV is fine. There are others that have posted that have this same problem.

DirecTV along with others have reported that it is not a unit problem, but reception from that station.

In terms of why technically it isn't the HR20 I couldn't tell you. I would think if it was the HR20 I would be having this problems on the other HD local feeds.

It was still doing it as of last night. It seems to be a little better, but still pretty much unusable. According to my tests and my wife's experience, it seems to do pretty well with the playback until you FF or RW, then it starts messing up.

For now, I'm using the HR20 for everything but WFTV. I still have my Brighthouse HD DVR which works ok with WFTV.

I believe this last update seemed to have fixed this problem with WFTV. I haven't watched much on ABC since the update but what I did watch (paused and recorded) never messed up.

The true test will be today when my wife watches General Hospital and Oprah. Anyone else that has been experiencing these issues see an improvement?

Yeah it happens on mine. The picture is fine but there is no DD and the audio cuts in and out.
