I just noticed that WGN 9 News is in HD now... watching on WGN America-HD.

Last time I checked it was still in SD.

Great! I hadn't noticed but I don't always watch it. I did see an ad on another Chicago local saying something about a big change coming. I'm guessing that will include their news going HD and maybe some of their daytime programing which is often just SD.

BTW, I keep wondering why Fox can do their Sunday morning current affairs show in HD but the other networks can't. Unfortunately HD doesn't improve the show's political bias.
