I'm trying to hook back up my grandpas Direct TV system after he had his house remodeled. And between the siding being replaced and new sheetrock in the den, he cant come up with any of the cables and whatever else that went between the receiver and the dish outside. The model number on the dish is sl3k4nr0-01 that has 4 outputs, and he has a HD DVR inside. I can get the model number in the morning if its needed. Anything you can tell us will be greatly appreciated!!!

Does he have just the one HD DVR? If so, you'll need two RG6 coax cables from any two of the dish LNB's four outputs. Find out the HD DVR model number because you might also need two B-Band Converter modules connected between the satellite cables and the DVR's two SAT INPUTs.

Also, is there still a ground block where those two cables enter the house?
