Changes to DNS may take a while to propogate. Or it could be something on my network?
Put in old ip address http://216.27.142.172/ and brought it to main dbsforums screen but clicked on link and was redirected to Porn screen (not something you want to happen in office, lucky part of IT deptartment, showed my boss as example of what could go wrong...)
At home (provider = AT&T) the DNS servers cannot resolve "www.dbsforums.com".
I get a message that www.dbsforums.com is not resolvable when I try to connect with a browser. DNS lookup says that that there is no such entry.
So, somehow, their DNS record is screwed up on some servers.
Putting the IP address gcutler lists above in my "hosts" file makes it work. I'll just leave the hosts file like that until the DNS servers get straightened out.
