I just got my HR20 hooked up with the 5 LNB dish and had a question about the channels I'm receiving. I have the following HD channels:

2/4/7/11 - SD
2/4/7/11 - HD (listed like 'KABC')
83/84 - HD (listed like ABCW)

My understanding was the 2/4/7/11 channels that were listed like 'KABC' were
my mpeg 4 HD local channels coming from sat 99 and the 83/84 channels were
my mpeg 2 locals. I had an issue with an HD broadcast last week (Monday night
football was dropping, going to a blue screen and then coming back - happened
about every 10 minutes) so I called D* and they forwarded me to their HR20
specialists. The lady on the phone said it was probably a broadcasting issue
but reported it anyways. When I asked her about my channels, she insisted that
the 83/84 channels were my mpeg 4 HD locals and had no idea what the 2/4/7/11
channels were that were listed like 'KABC'.

Is she crazy or am I? Any idea on why that channel was dropping to a blue screen for a few seconds. After that broadcast it seemed to be fine and wasn't having the issue on the same network when broadcasting on 83.

Thanks

Your KABC are your MPEG-4s.

84 is MPEG-2 out of LA
83 is MPEG-2 out of NY

Ok, that's what I thought. Apparently the D* lady needs to review her
material. Is their a web site or FAQ that I could view that shows what channels
are what for my area?

Thanks
