How do I confirm where my local HD channels are? Only CBS & NBC are currently offered, but my CBS is terrible. The audio crackles & the picture gets pixelated a lot. It is like it has a low signal level & I want to check the signal for the actual transponder. My NBC is perfect. I checked lyngsat.com, and I can't find the HD channels in there. According to Lyngsat, my SD locals are on 119.

The channels are #3 - WFSB and #30 WVIT in Hartford, CT.

This is not my issue as my picture is affected as well. I believe it is a signal issue, which is why I am trying to determine what transponder so I can see my signal strength on that specific transponder.
DirecTV and Lyngsat will not disclose what tp a network is assigned to. They only will say what satellite they are assigned.:eek2:

For instance if you base it on the past... I would guess that my spotbeam on 99 for all Boston MPEG4 locals are on tp4

Older generation receivers would tell you what tp a certain channel was on for signal strength...
