Just curious, where does the 'What's Hot' information on the Active menu come from? How do they know what programs people are watching? Is it collected automatically from receivers that are connected to an internet or phone line?

its not accurate...ive seen the same show, like say sportscenter on espn, be the #3 and #6 watched show at the same time.
