It means that program is a conflict and has the lowest priority so it will not record.
Whats with the xmen logo and star?
I have a season pass to Mad Men and next to the title in the guide it has a orange xmen logo and a star.....anyone knows what that is?

You can also check your "to do list" and it will show up in there if you have a conflict. It is probably a good idea to check once a week so you can make adjustment if you have a conflict so you don't miss something.
