:shrug: DTV on July 11, 2002, announced that Oklahoma City, Buffalo, NY and Grand Rapids Michigan will have Local channels by the end of the summer. They originally said they would have locals by mid-year then mid-summer.

How long should it take to turn local channels on in a city once they announce that they will?

They need to have the hookups made and test it out. Then work out the info the receiver needs. Then place them on the satelite. Its more work than it seems. And if one net doesnt want in it messes it up.
