You can't find it because it doesn't display it anywhere. If you bring up your list of recordings it will give you a percentage full but thats all you get.
where do I find available hours of SD/HD recording?
I have been working my way around the menu trying to find where I can determine the total number of hours SD and HD available. I have added a 750 gb external HD, and I want to see hour many recording hours I now have avaialable.
I am sure it is very simple...just can't seem to find it.

The included HD is 320 gb and provides roughly 50 hours mpeg4 HD and 200 hrs SD.
A 750 gb eSATA drive will at least double this - exactly how much more hasn't been reported.
