Menu > Help&Settings > Settings > Info & Test (hit enter)

The screen on the right will repopulate, it will be listed below the original firmware value and show the date and time it was updated.

Has anyone actually seen it show a 'future upgrade'? Even last night when everyone was forcing upgrades successfully, it still did not indicate a future upgrade was available (even though I did get 0xFE at 4:45 like everyone else).

Yes...

You normally will only see it, if you are "prompted" to update.. .and say yes.
As it schedules it a few minutes into the future.

As it schedules it a few minutes into the future.

Does it strike anyone else that this is not particularly useful? I had originally thought that D* could send advance notice of an impending update (not just a few minutes) with this feature. Was that never the intention? It seems like a really strange feature as it is currently implemented. I guess I could see some functionality for the feature as it is if it were combined with say a "flashing" front panel light. You could go to the screen and see an update was "pending".

Not a big deal...really, not any deal at all...just strikes me as peculiar.
