Where to get a dish (DIY Install_

or even a 500?

I'm in Detroit, I get all the Platinum Package, Dish is going to install a Dish on my house today, but I plan on putting one on my Cabin witch is about 30 miles North of my house, since I need to install the dish up there myself what dish do I need, and where is the best place to get one? I got one of them 20' HD's for cheep (Black Friday deal) so it's going to be HD Up north also .

Check to see what they install at home.
Most likely a 1000+. You could also go with a 500+ and a side dish for 61.5°.

If you want Detroit HD locals via satellite you'll need a + dish. A regular 1000 won't pick up those channels.

I have a Cabin up north, so i want to put a dish up there,

I dont know what I need.

I think I need a DPP44 switch, and I have a 1000+ on the roof, but can I get 2 500's or a 1000 (nonplus) and a 500 or something

are these the sats that I need for Detroit?
118.7° / 110º / 119º /129º

where do I get a dish and a switch for a decent cost?

118.7 is only on the + dishes, for the four you have listed a 1000+ would do the job, a DPP44 switch should come with the dish.
