Where to get best deal?

Where can you get the best new service deal for DishNetwork. I have a friend looking to get Dish. I would like to see them get a Vip622 without any upfront charges. This is in the Orange County CA area.

there is no "best" deal. everybody gets the same deal. it's not like comcast where you get a different offer every time you call a different csr.
Unless something strange happens... you will not be able to get a Vip622 without up-front charges anytime soon. Maybe in another year, who knows... but not soon.
i was able to get the 622 for 199 like everyone else but with the 20 off for 10 months it pays for itself. Also i was able to get them to throw in 6 month of Show, HBO and Starz for free.

I don't know what you mean but DISH sets the promotions and the rules that covern the offerings. If anyone is beating the official DISH promotions they probably are not going to be around for long.:)

i'm still reading. is there more to see?

i stand by my original statement. everybody gets the same deal.
Guess it depends upon what you mean by "on".

Thanks Mr. Clinton!

Yah, read jmeitz above... or the many of us that have received two leased 622's or ... If you believe that there is not room for negotiating well that's your choice. Doesn't mean it's true.

Many of us have received concessions by simply asking.
ok i won't go so far as to say that it isn't beyond the realm of possibility. but i'd be pretty surprised to hear of somebody getting a 622 without having to pay up front to get it.
Can anyone recommend a good, easy to use on-line retailer for Dish gear? Already have an account and I can install the equipment myself. My store front retailer recently retired. Just want to purchase the gear with ease and try not to go blind on filling out forms.
www.ebay.com, except for dishes, which are too expensive to ship/mail.
