·Has anyone noticed that Dr. Who, the venerable British sci-fi classic TV series, is now virtually nonexistent on US television? It's as if the Doctor went into his TARDIS and dematerialized. (For you non-aficionados, a TARDIS is a cross between a time machine and a spaceship. The Doctor's TARDIS usually looks on the outside like an old-timey British police call box, or phone booth, but inside, it's huge.)
Why won't someone air it? BBC America has seemingly dropped it. And the Sci-Fi Channel doesn't run it, either.
Won't someone please pick up this classic show?
