Quad 6 is fine...but overkill....regular RG-6 that you can get just about at any electronics supply store is fine.babzog said:

Just searching around for RG-6 cable and came across this one from Consolidated Wire and Cable:
4582-CL

It's quad shield, but mentions nothing about sweep testing, VoP is a bit lower, etc. It has the advantage of being relatively cheap, compared to say, the Signature Series (or Progear) from Skywalker.com. But... is it any good?
So, what do you guys like for quality RG-6? There will be some long-ish runs in my setup so looking for quality, low-loss, well-shielded, etc solid copper cable.

Just make sure its solid copper wire. Not that cheap copper coated steel wire.
