Is there a way to control the programming of a whole home dvr from another dvr connected to the network?

Sometimes I find myself wondering of I have already requested a program to record on another dvr.

To find out..I have to get up and go to another room and look on that dvrs to-do list to see of it's planned.

Currently this is not possible. Although, I keep hearing rumors that "maybe" this might be something D* includes in the H2x series down the road. I too have wanted this feature for a while.

and those receivers will probably next to impossible to get (for the "normal" user) without buying your own.

I don't really see why it wold need new hardware, could just be a software update.

I also think it would be cool if the D* iPad app could show you everything set to record on all DVRs as well. Seems elementary since it can already see all D* rcvrs on your network. But hey, I'm just a paying customer asking for a new feature right? lol
