If I order the WHDVR and 3 Extra HD boxes, will all 4 tv's be able to pause and rewind live tv. The time warner box only lets you pause and rewind on the tv connected to the main box.

At the current time, the only pause is from the DVR, but you can do a work a-round by setting up a recordings from a receiver and then play the recording while in progress and then pause it.
The HR34 is an RVU server and with a RVU client TV you can pause "live" TV with the RVU service. For the time being only some TVs are RVU, but there will be more clients later.

Also the DVR can only stream one program at a time, you would be much better off with two DVRs and two HD receivers.

With the HR34, it's 3 streams, the others are only one each.
