I have a H25-500 that is stuck on x059d. According to the red H firmware site, the H25-700s have the latest version, x05D2.

Have they stopped supporting certain models of the H25?

Not by any means.
They target updates to models that have a known problem.

"It would seem" the -700 needs something the -500 doesn't.
