My dad's 722 HD receiver shows a message when the receiver is on standby that says it has been turbo charged to TurboHD. But my 622 does not say that. DO I need to do an upgrade or something?

Your receiver just hasn't received the upgrade yet. My 722 has it, yet my dad's 622 does not. It hasn't rolled out to everyone.

You just need to wait. The 622's will get the upgrade "soon"

Don't worry about it. I got the nifty new new release early on my 722. The only change other than the standby screensaver appears to be access to one 1080p VOD movie which Dish cleverly didn't download the movie to everyone when they got the upgrade. But I got it - no 1080p TV and no HDMI connection.
